I became a single mom to my first Penelopi 1 week after graduating high school. Then 12 months and 12 days later I had my second Hudson.
Hudosn was born in the middle of a pandemic without even knowing I was pregnant and in the hospital hallway. I was alone
We discovered that Hudson had a brain tumor on 11-15-21 right before the life flighted him to St.Louis Children’s for him to have Brain Surgery on 11-17-21 not even 24 hrs after being there.
After that is when my Momcology journey stared. I will never forget the moment in 11-30-21 when they told me my son has cancer. I was alone. Choroid Plexus Carcinoma.
On 12-14-21 we made our trip to St.Jude where we have been ever since. I spend most of my time here Alone. Chemotherapy, Surgeries, Procedures, Therapies.
Then word Alone come up a lot. Even though I spend most of my time here Alone. I am never truly Alone. I have my family even when they can’t physically be here. And I also have my Faith in the Lord. With both of those. Even in the darkest moments I can never truly be alone.
“Be strong. Be brave. Be fearless. You are never alone.” – Joshua 1:9.
You go Adi Liz! So proud of you for taking that first step and starting this. You have quite a journey to share and Hudson definitely has a story to tell which only you can do. I have complete faith in you! Love you immensely Aunt Debi

You are so strong and I’m beyond proud of you.
I met a comforting paramedic tonight, who had a scar in the back of his head. He had a brain tumor when he was 8 years old. He completely recovered and is a healthy adult.
Your and Hudson’s story will be a powerful testimony! 🙏💕
